I have a x-rite i1 Display Prob. How I calibrate Eizo ColorEdgeCG241W monitor for Luster in Linux ?
The easiest option is to use Eizo ColorNavigator which comes with your display. It works very well with the i1 Display Pro and should give you a nice result. I would create a profile for Rec709, D65, 2.2 Gamma, and 120cd/m2 peak luminance for SMPTE or 80cd/m2 for EBU.
If you are using the Eizo for your GUI display over DVI/ HDMI from your graphics card, just remember you won't be seeing a full range signal. But, if you do have another reference monitor, its really helpful to have your GUI display calibrated to Rec709 so that they both match.
I use my Eizo for GUI display over DVi from my fraphics card. Please tell me how I will calibrate it ?
I just did. Use Color Navigator with your i1 Display Pro and you should get a nice result. But, remember that DVI only passes video levels, so you will not be seeing a full range signal. To see a full signal the best option is an actual SDI reference monitor.
If you need step by step directions, here are some links.
