Trouble with an ALE file

I’m having trouble with a Silverstack XT generated ALE for Avid. I’ve added the proxy clips (OP-Atom DNxHR LB, 1080p, 25fps) created with Resolve to a bin in an Avid project and I’m trying to add the scene-shot-take metadata via ALE but it’s simply not working, all I get is an error message saying BIN_IMPORT_NO_MATCH. It works without issues when I link the original media (Sony XAVC S-I) and import ALE. The problem persists with Silverstack generated Prores Proxy files too. The tape name matches between original and proxy files and so does the source name. I’ve also double checked the Silverstack ALE settings, like the Project settings, and I’ve created and tried several ALEs with different “Match clips based on” settings to no avail. Same error message every time.

Since Resolve can export ALE files, why don't you try exporting an ALE from the proxy clips timeline and see if that works.
I've used this method to get shot/take data across and it worked fine.
